2019 Legal Update

Presented by Kellie Tabor and Katie Bosbyshell

Please join Seattle SHRM for a review of recent developments in labor and employment law. We will review the effects — positive and negative — of recent litigation, legislative, and agency trends. Additionally, we will explore a wide range of cutting edge labor and employment topics impacting Washington employers of all sizes, such as:

  • Changes to paid family and medical leave in 2019 and anticipated changes for 2020
  • Latest activity with the #MeToo movement and legislative changes impacting employees
  • Updates on other laws such as domestic violence, equal pay, and expense issues
  • A look at what's on the horizon (with a summary of key legislation impacting employers from the 2019 legislative session
